If you are a regular player of scrabulous, you would have come across this message.

“Scrabulous is disabled for U.S. and Canadian users until further notice. If you would like to stay informed about developments in this matter, please click here.”

The popular application developed by Jayant Agarwalla and Rajat Agarwalla was taken down by Facebook due to legal pressure from Hasbro.

Fret not, the Agarwalla brothers are back with a new improved version under the name Wordscraper. What are the differences? Board is bigger, round tiles instead of square tiles and it’s customizable! Scoring options are different as well.

As of today (01 Aug 2008) the stats read “3,569 daily active users” with a rating of 4.7 out of 5. Will Scrabulous fans support the Agarwalla brother’s new improved game? Well, track their stats for yourself, taking referenced from the stats posted here. :>

What’s next, check out the new game of course! Before you go bookmark this page and come back to track their growth.

Cheers,
KC
